Volunteering

Hadlow parents can get involved as volunteers in different ways.

Parents can fundraise through the Friends of Hadlow or help out (as and when you can) at school events like our annual swimming sports.

Be a ‘Passion Time’ Mentor

You can also become a ‘passion time’ mentor.

Volunteering in this way sees a parent partner up with a student for an hour a week to help the student learn more about a hobby (a passion) they’re interested in and that you know a lot about.

We have a parent who speaks Mandarin mentoring a student at present. Another student-mentor pair is focused on the German language. Other topics our students feel passionate about range from complex mathematics to woodwork and carpentry to playing the violin and quilt making.
