Because we encourage students to become self-directed, self-managing learners who are able to learn at their own pace, anywhere, at any time, there is plenty of opportunity for extension within an average school day.

Passion Time

Factored into our timetable is “passion time”, which gives all our students an opportunity to extend themselves by learning about something (outside the curriculum) that really interests them.

For some students, it’s a language that interests them (one of our students is learning Swahili). For others, it is a cultural pursuit. Students then have the option of taking part in coaching or private tuition and integrating those lessons into their school timetable.
